Doug Regen is Professor of Practice, Design at Watkins College of Art. He earned his B.F.A. degree in Art and Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee. He joined O’More’s Graphic Design Department ten years ago and brings to the classroom over 30 years of design and marketing experience as a former ad agency executive creative, designing for regional and national brands. He left his agency to pursue his dream of designing and constructing site-specific furniture that resides in homes and businesses throughout the South. His success with leading students to their desired careers in the design industry is invaluable in the areas of portfolio development and marketing.
Doug’s Faculty Fellow grant enabled him to create a large sculptural piece, 4’x4′, that reflects and embodies the first-year theme of “Performing Shalom.”
