Nick Baird-Chrisohon serves as Associate Director of Programming, where he leads the Convening strategy team, designing spaces for imaginative exchange and hosting public events that promote the Collective’s network. In addition, his team supports the CAC’s Senior Fellow, facilitating the Artist in Context Co-Lab and the Faculty Fellows programs, and building connections among artists, scholars, and art-supporting organizations.
Nick came to Belmont in 2022 to manage the programmatic and business operations of Project Thrive, a congregational resource and coaching initiative funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Thriving Congregations Initiative. Shortly thereafter, he assumed these same responsibilities for the Reverend Charlie Curb Center for Faith Leadership, which includes the Belmont Office for Jewish Dialogue and Discovery and the Jesus Worldview Initiative.
Beyond Belmont, Nick serves on the global United Methodist Ecumenical and Interreligious Training Team and the Tennessee–Western Kentucky Conference Faith and Innovation Team. He is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and Vanderbilt University Divinity School, and is currently pursuing a PhD through Belmont’s College of Education. His research explores the role of leadership in ethical and moral formation within religious communities, with particular attention to cultivating theological imagination in Christian teaching.
